SENIOR VOLUNTEER POSITION:
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Time requirement: 5 hours/week
You will oversee the recruiting, selection, and training of
volunteers for the organization. We need three or four general
volunteers to help out at each concert. The primary function of this
position is to use email, Facebook, MySpace, and telephone to solicit
those per-event volunteers and keep our events running smoothly. We
are looking for a proactive, tenacious, enthusiastic individual to
locate the best volunteers and keep them coming back.
This is a great way to add management experience to your resume, help
the community, and see a few amazing rock concerts while you’re at it.
Must be able to attend twice-monthly staff meetings.
STAFF VOLUNTEER POSITION:
SOUND ENGINEER
Time requirement: 5 hours / month
Have you ever run live sound before? Say for school, concerts, church, or even… the scene?
Consider running sound for WhAAM events. After a short training
session to get up to speed on our gear, even volunteering one evening
per month is enough to really help us out.
his is a great way to give back to the all-ages music scene and experience a few amazing rock concerts while you’re at it.

EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Time requirement: 4 hours / event
Like music? Want to garner real-life experience helping put on
concerts? We need general event volunteers for every concert we put
on. Your duties vary between selling tickets, running security, and
making sure everyone stays safe at our events. Plus, see some great
acts while you’re doing it. Volunteer for two concerts and you receive
a free ticket to any upcoming WhAAM event. Check out our website or

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS DISTRIBUTION
Time requirement: 2-4 hours / month
We have over 100 locations in Whatcom County that need to receive
our calendar of events every month. Sign up for 25 locations and get a
